Defire

We are developing a service, which provides real-time and long-term Wildfire Risk Assessments for entire countries down to individual parcels of land.

Our mission is to support Insurance and Reinsurance Companies to build strong customer relationships by providing them with the tools to determine fair premiums for their customers and help them to prevent wildfires before they become a disaster.

Our team consists of young experts from the fields of geoinformatics, biology, chemistry and biotechnology. We have a profound knowledge of earth observation, artificial intelligence and agile methods. We proved this knowledge and great team collaboration when we won 1st place at the Copernicus Hackathon 2020 in Graz.
